Missing You

This past week, I have been thinking about my dad a lot. I miss him.
It will be two years this coming October that he's been gone. He loved his family, he loved God and he couldn't stand fake people....

I decided a long time ago that you're never too old to need your dad. A dad's wisdom and strength is a blessing. I'm so glad you're my husband's dad...that means I get to benefit from your strength and wisdom along with him.

Dad, I miss Grandpa too. Remember when he came to see us in the Mesa house in CA? It must have been around Easter time because I had a little pink bunny toy that did backflips when I wound it up. So I wound it up for Grandpa and he laughed and laughed and laughed so hard! Remember? :)

I remember that. Actually, it was on Bartlett and I believe it was Christmas because you kids did your own Christmas play. It was a riot. Dad laughed so hard at that little windup toy, I was seriously concerned that he would have a heart attack or something. I laughed until I was crying. Not so much at the toy, but at how hard Dad was laughing.
Thanks for remembering that.
I hope you didn't mind my "corrections" to the story.
